We are excited to announce the third release of COSMOGRAM: the contemporary chamber music album “Un Soffio Elettrico” by Giovanni Mancuso and Sofia Pozdniakova.

This debut record is a journey that spans from medieval music to American minimalism, presenting original songs while also exploring the repertoire of twentieth-century greats such as Feldman, Riley, Glass, and Cage, which the Venetian duo reinterprets with freedom and sensitivity.

From the ecstatic sublimation of singing in Hildegard Von Bingen, the linear purity of songs by Cage and Feldman, the nostalgic tenderness of Terry Riley, and the hypnotic ostinatos of Philip Glass, to the kaleidoscopic structures of Mancuso and Pozdniakova’s new works, the breath of the voice and the electricity of the organ are ever-present in their complementary and contrasting nature.
